Learning Edge International Signs Agreement with Pierpoint-Martin

SANTA ANA, Calif.—Mar. 15, 2008--Technology solutions and e-commerce provider Pierpoint-Martin announced today that Learning Edge International has signed an agreement with Pierpoint-Martin for e-commerce services and Digital Rights Management.

Learning Edge International is a Florida-based company specializing in development and marketing of CD-ROM and web-based interactive training tools including the Children’s Home Society series of Children Welfare training courses.

Under the agreement announced today, Pierpoint-Martin will develop and manage a new e-commerce site for Learning Edge International as well as provide inventory and fulfillment services. The new Learning Edge International website will allow customers to purchase learning edge products both in CD-ROM form and for immediate download. It will also include online demos of Learning Edge products. CD-ROM purchase will be fulfilled by Pierpoint-Martin.

In addition to the e-commerce services, Pierpoint-Martin will also license its Digital Rights Management System for use in Learning Edge products. The Pierpoint-Martin License Management System will allow Learning Edge to license the use of their products on a per-user or per-CPU basis and control unauthorized copying and distribution. The Pierpoint-Martin Licensing System is media-neutral so it operates the same regardless of whether the product is distributed on CD-ROM, downloaded, or run directly over the web.
