With Pierpoint-Martin XpressLane, varying web site content for high-speed
visitors versus low-speed visitors is easy. Pierpoint-Martin XpressLane
uses proprietary algorithms to automatically "detect" the connection
speed of each visitor to your site.
XpressLane can be configured as the default application ( "home page")
for the web site and automatically redirect the user's browser to different
URLs based on connection speed. Alternatively, the XpressLane API can
be called from an Active Server Pages-based or Java Server Pages-based
web application.
XpressLane also contains connection speed tracking and reporting features
which allow webmasters to generate reports on the connection speed of
the visitors to their sites.
Pierpoint-Martin XpressLane can also detect existence and version compatibility
of Flash plug-ins.
